Consultations

New patient referrals are welcome. All patients will be seen in a timely manner. Please indicate if your referral is urgent so we can prioritise your patient for an expedited appointment.

Endoscopy

In the interests of timely access to endoscopy, our doctors can provide an open access endoscopy service to our patients. Please let us know if your patient would prefer to proceed straight to endoscopy without a consultation so that our staff can facilitate this process.

Multidisciplinary meetings

The MGC welcomes GP management plans in order to facilitate our multidisciplinary care for your patients. We also hold a monthly meeting to discuss patients’ cases within our team.

We strongly believe that GP specialists are central to co-ordinated and efficient patient care and that effective communication between team members improves patient outcomes. We therefore invite our referring GPs to attend - either in person or virtually - in order to be involved in case discussion.

Please let us know if you are interested in attending when referring us a patient with a management plan so that we can let you know when we will be discussing your patients’ care. Case discussions are expected to take between 15-30 minutes per patient,
